Our first and incidental date

I know it sounds Jurassic, but I'd like to write it as vividly as I can before it slip my mind. Baka magka-memory gap na :-)

One Saturday morning at the Quadrangle of our school, we were waiting for our professor but unfortunately he did not show up thus our class was cancelled. As students, cancelled classes mean "lakwatsa time". Yehey! So we went to the other side of Luneta to have lunch. After that, we then decided to return to school to do some research.

While crossing Taft Avenue, the stop light turned red leaving us two stuck in the middle of an island. Our other friends were waiting for us on the other side of the street. While we were there I told him that I don't want to return to school anymore and I want to watch a movie instead.

Syke : Ha? Manonood ka ng sine? Sino kasama mo?
Me   : Ako lang! Lagi naman akong nanonood mag-isa eh. (Lakas ng loob ko noh)
Syke : Ganun? Hindi ka man lang magyayaya?
Me   : Ha? Sure ka? Gusto mong sumama?
Syke : Oo naman! (Uy excited! hehe)
         Me   : O sige, tara!

So when the stop light turned green, we rode a jeepney going to SM Sta. Mesa. Our friends on the other side of the street were so shocked! We left them hanging! hahaha!

Since I am an avid fan of Tom Cruise, we watched this movie.

And this was the beginning of our story...until next.

the cheesy-deep side of him

May 13, 2012

During our CFC (Couples for Christ) East A Chapter Leaders' Team Building, all the boys (better called as our brothers) were requested to write a letter for their spouse. Before partaking our lunch, each letter will be read and the girls (better called as our sisters) will guess if that letter is dedicated to them. Every correct guess has a corresponding point for their team.

I had mixed emotions knowing that ever since we started dating, I only received one letter from him. Apart from the fact that he has a really bad penmanship, he is hard to surmise. Everybody knows that he is "kalog". Always a clown, no dull moment when he is around.

Unfortunately, almost all the letters have been read. Me?...clueless! I didn't know if I was so numbed or just so dumb at all. It was too late when I realized that when he is serious, he is so "malalim", so passionate.

Ending? Hindi ko nahulaan! ARRGGG! I really hate myself :-(

Anyway just to share, here's what he wrote:

My life was in a downward spiral
I was out for the count
Then God gave you to me
And my life came to be...

                 KALUGURAN DA KA - Syke

I knew he was also disappointed. But we ended up laughing! Sabi ko nga, sana hindi ka na lang nagsulat, nahulaan ko pa :-) hehe ganun ako ka-bitter.

Mother's day treat...billiard

We were not able to celebrate Mother's Day on the day itself due to my monthly visitor...coupled with migraine :-(. But instead we celebrated it on the following day. After we had dinner at Savory, we played billiard. Daphne, my daughter, and I had so much fun! It was our first! But surely not the last :-)

just a simple start

I've been wanting to blog months ago. Here I am now...starting!
